I think spring is my favourite time of year, and I think April is my favourite month. I love it when snow melts en masse and the rivulets of water are running down every street. Wow it's been a while since I've been able to post a blog item. In fact, I've been so busy lately, I contemplated not getting out of bed yesterday for the all day Brownfield Redevelopment Seminar hosted by the City of Edmonton. But duty got the better of me and I dragged myself downtown for the Seminar. I'm glad I did.

Slow steady decline over the last four years although lease transactions are happening.
Commercial sales and leasing statistics reported by the Edmonton Real Estate Board show a slow steady decline in the commercial real estate marketplace since the highs of 2006 and 2007. Land Sales Land sales peaked in 2006, and have declined every year to a low in 2009 of around 18% of the unit volume seen in 2006.
