I think spring is my favourite time of year, and I think April is my favourite month. I love it when snow melts en masse and the rivulets of water are running down every street. Wow it's been a while since I've been able to post a blog item. In fact, I've been so busy lately, I contemplated not getting out of bed yesterday for the all day Brownfield Redevelopment Seminar hosted by the City of Edmonton. Slow steady decline over the last four years although lease transactions are happening. Commercial sales and leasing statistics reported by the Edmonton Real Estate Board show a slow steady decline in the commercial real estate marketplace since the highs of 2006 and 2007. Land Sales Land sales peaked in 2006, and have declined every year to a low in 2009 of around 18% of the unit volume seen in 2006.
